Erling Håland is something of Red Bull Salzburg and Norway’s darling future prospect. The striker is already in electric form this season, having netted 18 for the campaign already, and will no doubt be on the shopping list of top European clubs not before long.
The Leeds-born forward – born there while his father, defender Alf-Inge Håland, played for Leeds United – is one of European football’s next generation of stars.
Having shown great prolific goalscoring throughout his career, he made the move to Austria from Norweigan side Molde in January 2019 on a five-year deal.
Very much in the youth development style of Red Bull Salzburg, Håland has indeed been hitting the next level as a footballer – including two senior caps for his national team Norway.
There is little question that Håland is set for success.
