Serge Gnabry might not have been a success in England, but now at German champions Bayern Munich the German international is experiencing something of a renaissance.
Having initially come through the youth ranks of Stuttgart, before joining Arsenal in 2011.
However, Gnabry struggled to find the form his talent had initially promised at the Gunners, making just 10 league appearances during his time at the London club. He also spent a woeful loan spell out at West Brom, managing just a single league appearance and was recalled in the January.
Joining Bayern in 2017, only last season did he finally hit his mark. Finishing the Bundesliga season as Bayern’s second top scorer in the 2018/19 season with 10 goals in 30 matches, he won his first Bundesliga title and has found success internationally with Germany too – as well as scoring four in his return to Arsenal.
